About Me

- I've always been fascinated by all things small, odd and sweet. It wasn't long before I discovered my mother's box of trinkets and started wearing them for fun. Growing up in New York City, I found that people wore jewelry to accentuate their wardrobe and I personally used jewelry to express my moods, personality and style. I started creating my own "statement" pieces 6 years ago and haven't stopped since then. When I am not designing jewelry, I am busy exploring Minnesota with my family and teaching at the Jefferson Community School in Minneapolis.

This necklace took a long time to make! It's been a project I started a long time ago..I struggled with finding the right colors. That's the hardest part about stringing multiple types of beads-there has to be balance in colors, weight, and size. I finally said "oh, what the heck, go out on a limb and mix bright beads with earth tones.."
