Candied Yams was born out of my passion for jewelry. The name, like the food, represents homemade natural goodness with a sweet style.
About Me

- Minneapolis, MN
- I've always been fascinated by all things small, odd and sweet. It wasn't long before I discovered my mother's box of trinkets and started wearing them for fun. Growing up in New York City, I found that people wore jewelry to accentuate their wardrobe and I personally used jewelry to express my moods, personality and style. I started creating my own "statement" pieces 6 years ago and haven't stopped since then. When I am not designing jewelry, I am busy exploring Minnesota with my family and teaching at the Jefferson Community School in Minneapolis.

When I made this necklace, I was remembering when me and my family were collecting starfish at the beach in South Jersey. It was just amazing! There were so many..they were wrapped in all this seaweed and shells that washed up on shore..
Love this look...very beachy :)
